Titanium Birdcage Fret Saw

Featured Knew Concepts Saw Frame

The Titanium Birdcage Fret Saw is brand new to our family of fret saws. This fret saw is a powerhouse for precise cutting and maneuvering around for detailed objects. This is by far the strongest, most rigid fret saw available on the market today. Its spine is a welded titanium beam, the blade is tensioned with a lever that can tension blades so tight they “ping” with music. Make turns that are tighter than ever before with the blade clamps that lock at 45° left, 0°, 45° right. This light weight saw weighs only 6-3/4 ounces, so you'll have plenty of enthusiasm to finish your project to perfection.

The Red Saw

Why Is The Frame Red?

Studies have shown that the color red serves as an aid in performing detailed tasks. It’s a world wide phenomenon and is not language limited. My take on this is that it goes way back in time, and is part of our genetic makeup. To me, it makes sense that when you are cutting away at sinews, tendons, and masses of flesh way up inside body cavities of some large animal, and you are covered in blood, since there are no emergency rooms nearby, red will tend to focus the mind. Failure to pay attention to accuracy tends to weed out the ones that didn't pay attention. The Darwin principle at work.
