One Dozen Herkules 10/0 Jewelers Saw Blades.

The finest, most delicate saw blades made. Most jeweler’s supply houses don’t stock blades smaller than 8/0, because traditional jeweler’s saws have trouble properly tensioning such delicate blades. Knew Concepts saws have the most controllable tensioning mechanisms on any jeweler’s saw made. Since our saws are the first to really be able to take advantage of the 10/0 blades, it seemed like a natural fit to start carrying them. For a sense of scale, they’re roughly twice as thick as a human hair. With teeth.

For the jewelers: These are the most delicate blades you will ever see, which means you need to tension them carefully, or they will snap, even on our saws. If you have a saw with lever tensioning, some of our users have reported having better luck by leaving the lever in the ‘tight’ position, and tensioning the blade by way of rotating the brass adjustment knob until satisfied with the ‘ping’. After you get a sense of what they’ll take, then experiment with using the lever. Remember to unwind the tension knob when loading a new blade. Titanium saws use them to best advantage because of their extra rigidity, but that means that Ti saw owners must be doubly careful when tensioning them, because the Ti saws are so much stiffer.

For the woodworkers: These are not the saw blades you were looking for. Trust us on this. That said, they’d do amazing things on boulle inlay. Just very, very slowly.

Made in Germany. The teeth are machine filed, rather than punched, resulting in a sharper edge.

    5.125" (130mm) long x0.010" wide x 0.0054" thick

These blades are for fretsaws & jeweler’s saws, they will not fit coping saws.

One Dozen Pegas #7 Skip Tooth Fret/Jewelers Saw Blades.

These are the blades that the saws are coming pre-loaded with. The best general purpose delicate woodworking blades we’ve found. Aggressive enough to cut out dovetail waste quickly, but delicate enough to turn tight corners.

For jewelers, ignore the package saying “wood”. They make outstanding blades for hard carving wax. Vastly superior to the old spiral blades, these will actually cut a straight line, and go where you point them.

Made in Switzerland. The teeth are machine filed, rather than punched, resulting in a sharper edge.

    5.125" (130mm) long x 0.048" wide x 0.015" thick.
